I found yoga more than 10 years ago, regular yoga practice has helped me to grow stronger, more flexible, and peaceful both on and off the mat. Yoga enables me to live a mindful and connected life.
I previously worked in the Financial Services sector as a Facilities Manager specialising in Health & Safety. My favourite aspect of this role was working with individuals providing ergonomic guidance to minimise the impact of sitting at a desk all day. I often advised my clients take up yoga! When my son was born in 2015, I found that corporate life conflicted with my aims as a Mother. In 2017 I took the plunge and retrained as an Adult and Children’s Yoga Teacher.
I completed my 200 hour Power Vinyasa teacher training with Dylan Ayaloo Training Academy, which is accredited by Yoga Alliance USA. I completed my Yoga for Kids and Families Teacher Training with Rainbow Kids Yoga, and Kidding Around Yoga. I have recently qualified to teach Parent and Baby Yoga. I will always be a student of the practice and am grateful for the wisdom all my teachers share with me.
I have a fully enhanced DBS certificate and am qualified in Paediatric First Aid with St Johns Ambulance.
My classes provide a complete body workout, building strength, flexibility, and creating space in the joints. Everyone is unique and so each interpretation of a pose is unique. All my classes have a mindfulness component. My style is loving and playful.
